Part of the false door and lintel of the tomb of Meni of Giza, western cemetery, 6th dynasty. State Museum of Egyptian Art, Munich, Germany. It contains justifying and warning inscriptions (the latter is sometimes called the "curse inscription"):
jr zj nb jr n(.j) nw nj zp ẖpt.f jr(.j) m ḥmt(j) m ẖrt(j)-nṯr s.ḥtp.n(.j) sw
"As for every person who made this (= tomb) for me - there was no case (for) he was angry with me, whether he was a master, whether he was a cemetery worker, (after all) I contented him."

第6王朝の西側墓地、ギザのメニの墓の偽扉とまぐさの一部。国立エジプト美術館、ミュンヘン、ドイツ。そこには正当化と警告の碑文が含まれています (後者は「呪いの碑文」と呼ばれることもあります)。
